My husband planned this surprise weekend getaway for my 40th birthday. He packed my bags, had the kids drop-off planned and we headed out as we usually would. I had no idea we were headed to the Delamar Greenwich Harbor. This hotel is located in Fairfield County, CT, has everything needed in a luxury hotel. It offers a number of complimentary services such as: Grab & Go breakfast served in the lobby, bicycle rental, valet parking, and more. They also offer onsite services, including: Spa, dining, room service, ADA compliant guestrooms, private meeting space for corporate or social events and dry cleaning. A big plus is that dogs (up to 100 pounds) are welcomed and offered a treat, dog bed and bowls. There is a nightly fee and dog services are available. This hotel also features a marina with 500 feet of private dockage. The nightly stroll by the water made this trip even more special!

OUR ROOM
My husband booked the Executive Town View Room. Elegant town view rooms on the top floors featuring a king size bed, free WIFI, a 55-inch flat screen TV, iPod dock, minibar fridge, in-room safe, a marble bathroom with a soaking tub and Bvlgari bath amenities. It was quaint and perfect!

The Delamar Greenwich Harbor is located along the water, with more than 500 feet of private dockage with accommodations for sail and motor yachts up to 180 feet. There are attractions and activities for all travelers: families, couples, business and groups in Greenwich, CT. This city offers golfing, recreational activities, parks and nature preserves, beaches, shopping and dining, museums and theatres. We went shopping and had lunch at the Greenwich Avenue which is within walking distance from the hotel. Westchester and White Plains NY are located just minutes from Greenwich, CT so you can find activities to engage in at these surrounding areas. DINING
Located within the Delamar is L’Escale, an elegant yet modern and stylish restaurant that captures the essence of Southern France. The menu surely transported us to the French Riviera with the highest-quality seafood and shellfish, seasonal vegetables, regional herbs and spices. The food here was delicious and the outdoor seating with waterfront made dinner at this restaurant all the more romantic! If you choose to venture out, Greenwich is home to a wide selection of exceptional dining options, many of which are walking distance from the hotel.

The Delamar Greenwich Harbor is absolutely gorgeous and well- maintained. If you're looking for a quaint yet luxurious hotel, this is the place for you. The hospitality of the staff is exceptional. We really enjoyed our walk along the dock, shops being walking distance away and being able to celebrate this milestone at such a beautiful location.
